The Cardinals from beautiful Coeur D'Alene, Idaho are off to a (11-7) start heading into this weekend's homestand with Salt Lake City Community College.
Brian Morris: (SO) 6-foot-8 from Portland, OR. Morris was dismissed from the program this week. He was averaging 18.6 points and nine rebounds this season. Last
Saturday versus Eastern Utah, Brian had 20 points and 8 rebounds. The transfer from SMU averaged 7.2 points a game last season for the Mustangs.
Nick Livi: (SO) 6-foot-1 (200) from Seattle, WA. Livi spent last season at Eastern Washington University averaging 2.6 points in five games.
"Nick is a very hard worker and his work is paying off both for our team and for himself. We are very proud of the person that Nick is becoming and I know whatever schools ends up with him next will be getting a winner," said Phay. "He knows how to score in a variety of ways and always plays hard."
Livi is averaging 16.3 points and 3.5 assists this year for the Cardinals. Nebraska, Hawaii, Boise State, Montana, Montana State, Utah State, BYU and Denver are keeping tabs on Nick this season.
Scott Stockwell: (SO) 6-foot-2 from Post Falls, ID.
"Scott is a strong scorer but what people don't always realize is that he is also our best defender," Phay said. "He works hard at both ends."
Stockwell is receiving interest from Eastern Washington, Montana State, Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo and Long Beach State.
Stockwell is getting 11.9 points and 3.2 assists a night.
Zach Parks: (SO) 6-foot-8 from Anaconda, MT. The power forward is drawing interest from Montana State and American University. Zach is at 4.7 points per game this season.
"Zach is a very smart player and very fundamentally sound," Phay remarked. "Zach is also a very unselfish player."
