Mt. San Jac Update
Two sophomores at Mt. San Jacinto College in California are getting some pretty good looks this fall.
JUCO Junction caught up with Mt. San Jac Head Coach Patrick Springer recently, and he brought us up to speed with 6-4 swingman Tihon Johnson and 6-8 power/combo forward Waki Williams.

Johnson, a strong run/jump athlete from Columbus, Ohio, has been offered scholarships by Akron and Creighton. He took an official visit to Creighton last weekend (Oct. 3-5).
Arkansas Little Rock and St. Bonaventure are also involved with Johnson this fall, Springer said.
Williams, who also hails from Columbus, opted not to take any early trips. He was slated at one time to visit Nebraska, but that trip was cancelled.
In addition to the Huskers, St. Bonaventure, Nevada, Boise State, Murray State and Portland State have expressed interest in Williams.
Williams is a quick and skilled power forward who often beats defenders with his agility and mobility. With a fine sophomore campaign at Mt. San Jacinto, Williams should be recruited at the mid to high major level.
We will keep you posted on both Johnson and Williams as the signing period approaches. Stay tuned!
