Iowa Western Community College finished last season at 20-11 last season under Head Coach Jim Morris. The Reivers return a solid class of sophomores this coming season to the mix. Today one post player from the Reivers decided to end his recruitment early according to assistant coach James Bankhead. JucoJunction has the latest on this player in this article.

Petey Hausley hails from Old Fort, NC, a town just east of Asheville on Interstate 40. Hausley today gave a early commitment to Appalachian State University in Boone, NC according coach Bankhead. Hausley averaged 10.9 ppg, 5.2 rebounds and shot 60.2% (124-206) from the floor this past season. Petey also blocked 33 shots last year.

"Petey is an athletic four man who can play with his back to the basket and is always working hard on both ends of the floor," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.

The Reivers could have a lot of company from NCAA Division One coaches this coming fall through their gym.
