Tyrone Jackson, a strong 6-2, 200 pound point/combo guard from Fresno City College in Fresno, Calif., has taken a pair of official visits this fall.
Fresno City Head Coach Vance Walberg told JUCO Junction that Jackson visited St. Mary's (Sept. 26-27) and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (Oct. 3-5).

Among the other programs involved with Jackson include Utah, BYU, Hawaii, San Francisco, San Jose State and Utah State.
Jackson had committed to hometown Fresno State back in August, only to see the Bulldogs later pull the scholarship off the table.
"He is definitely going to sign late," Coach Walberg said. "Initially, he was crushed when Fresno State reneged on him, and I think he wanted to look at some other schools."
Not only did Jackson visit St. Mary's, but Coach Walberg's son Jason, a 6-3 shooting guard at FCC, also went on the trip. Walberg is being recruited by St. Mary's and a host of other four-year schools at various levels.
One player whom Walberg feels could develop into a low Division I prospect this winter is 6-6 1/2, 220 pound combo forward Lesego Molebatsi.
A transfer from Southern Nevada C.C., Molebatsi has drawn early interest from Fullerton State and St. Mary's.
We will keep you posted on the Fresno City program as the late signing period approaches, so stay tuned.
