Cuesta forwards getting attention
College coaches are finding there way to San Luis Obispo, California this fall. Two reasons Jimmy Allen and Kristof Ongenaet.
Allen is not your typical college sophomore. Before last season started Allen was driving a Pepsi truck. He is now 24 yrs old and being recruited throughoutthe country. He visited Montana State (offered) this past weekend. UNLV, UTEP, Fullerton, Kansas State - all have been in and Oklahoma called this week.

Allen, 6-foot-9 (210) from Vallejo, CA played his first year of organized basketball last year.
"Jimmy is very athletic and very raw still," said coach Rusty Blair. "He is a freelance guy that is long and slender."
"He can knock down the 12-14 footer, he played reallywell this past summer in the Nike Pro AM League in Berkley,CA."
Allen averaged 10.9 points, 10 rebounds a game and had 151 blocked shots for 4.7 per game . He shot 57% from the floor.
Kristof Ongenaet, 6-foot-8 (225), is from Belgium. He has offers from Pacific and Cal-Irvine. He is being recruited by San Diego State, Montana State and other Big West
Schools. Ongenaet averaged 10.3 points and 12.3 rebounds last year and 3.2 blocks. He shot 64% from the floor last season.
"Kristof is more a setup guy. He is extremely good with his left hand," Blair said. "Everything around the basket is a dunk. Kristof continues to work on his perimeter game."
Ongenaet plays on the Junior National team in Belgium. He did attend University of Brussels before attending Cuesta - part time as a student.
"Jimmy Allen would like to sign early," said Blair.
Ongenaet led the state in rebounding last year and was 4th in blocked shots. Allen was 1st in blocked shots and 4th in rebounding last year.
